Imaging Edge and Creative Look on the RAW

Drop a SOOC JPEG in Lightroom and the Look is gone. The camera is fine. Those eight sliders live in the JPEG. Lightroom’s camera-matching profiles can give a Sony RAW the base look, but not the eight adjustments; the desktop tool that puts the whole Creative Look back on a Sony RAW is Imaging Edge Edit. Cuzzzzc was talking about the other end (App Store China, translated): “The perfect app for sharing straight-out-of-camera photos, with watermark and frame options built in.” That is the JPEG out of the camera, not the RAW on the desk.

We do not replace Imaging Edge
Keep official Imaging Edge for webcam, import, and the desktop browser. We do not re-apply Looks to RAW, and we do not do webcam. The JPEG in the camera — community numbers into a Custom Look — is a different step.
