A Sony camera monitor on the phone — then we switch Creative Look

An HDMI box, a Portkeys, Sony Monitor & Control — those are real tools. We wanted the other job: a large live view on the phone, zebra so the sky is not gone, and a way to try FL without putting our face in the EVF. Monitor and Creative Look on the same link. Han S. in the world later wrote on the App Store (China; translated) that AlphaLuma “makes photo processing really convenient and makes it much easier to organize and export my shots.” The monitor is before the shutter. The frame is after.

Sony Monitor & Control is the serious video app. We are not replacing a powered HDMI monitor. We are the people who did not want to buy another screen just to see a JPEG.

SOOC dies in the highlights. Zebra on the sky and a forehead. False color when the frame goes muddy. Peaking for a manual lens. They live in the monitor, not in a separate scopes app.
Same cable, then FL
While the monitor is up you can change Creative Look, and the change is written back to the camera. That is the part a monitor-only app does not do. Recipe cards live on sonyfilmsimulations.com. Writing lives here. Creators’ App is better for Sony’s own named Looks — we do not pretend otherwise.
